
Onside has been retained by Diageo Ireland Sponsorships since 2005 as a central sponsorship strategy and evaluation agency. Since then, we have consulted on, negotiated, managed and measured multiple sponsorship programmes with a wide variety of Diageo’s brands including Guinness, Carlsberg and Budweiser. Working together with Diageo’s Sponsorship Department and the relevant brand cross-agency teams, Onside has guided the development and delivery of sponsorship properties such as Guinness’s sponsorship of the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championships and the Irish Rugby Team & Guinness Series, Budweiser’s sponsorship of BudRising and Carlsberg’s Soccer and Comedy sponsorships.

The extensive work carried out by Onside for Aviva centres on rights negotiations in Irelands largest ever sponsorship deal – The Aviva Stadium. Onside was Aviva’s key sponsorship contract adviser and negotiator and brought our extensive local, but also global experience and intelligence, to the fore.
Through our extensive knowledge of major international sponsorship contracts we were able to assist the Aviva team alongside their legal experts to deliver a deal that meets all the business and marketing requirements to provide a major sponsorship platform that the brand can activate extensively and innovatively on for the next decade.
