O2:

In 2007 O2 started exploring the opportunity to create the first major venue naming rights sponsorship in the Irish market. Onside was employed by the brand to provide in-depth analysis and insights into the opportunity, including work on the sponsorships valuation.

As the first such deal in Ireland Onside also provided key consumers insights and information that supported the business case to go ahead with the sponsorship. Following on from this work, Onside is retained by O2 to work across all their sponsorships, most notably their primary partner sponsorship of The O2, The Irish Rugby Team, Cork GAA and endorsement deals with Brian O Driscoll & Paul O Connell.

 

Bord Gáis Energy:

One of our newest major clients, Bord Gáis Energy engaged Onside to aid in their sponsorship programmes across all aspects.  As they reshaped their business offerings and branding they identified the importance of having a deliverable sponsorship programme in place. To date Onside has up-skilled the key personnel within the brand team as well as aiding in developing sponsorship manuals and procedures which will guide the brand through all sponsorship decisions over the next 3-5 years.

Onside sits on the brands sponsorship steering committee as well as evaluating all current and potential sponsorships.
